Every year on the third Thursday of November, the American Cancer Society holds an annual event to get people to quit smoking. To encourage people to quit smoking, and to contribute to the fight against lung cancer, ACS at UC Davis holds an annual general meeting the week of GASO to educate people on smoking and lung cancer.
