Making Strides Against Breast Cancer
Making Strides Against Breast Cancer is a national American Cancer Society event that occurs each October to celebrate those who commit to the fight against breast cancer and honor those who have fallen to it. It consists of a group of non-competitive three to five-mile walk that happens in cities across the country, where people get the chance to show their Breast Cancer Awareness Pride and help fundraise in the fight against breast cancer.
Making Strides 2023
On October 15th, Sacramento held its annual Making Strides march at Sacramento State University. Some members of ELT volunteered at the event to host a photo booth and cheer on the walkers at the event.
